Iran wrestling federation hosts first Asian belt wrestling championships under UWW supervision.

Tehran city hosts the competition and 13 Asian teams participate in men challenge as 10 teams will be in women category, August 8^th and 9^th.

Iran, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan,  India, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Indonesia are 13 countries which compete in Asian belt wrestling championships.
